Very nice Bud! You did a great job of selecting backgrounds that show off the magic of the lens. You also have a handsome subject! He looks all boy, bet he can keep you busy!
Congrats on the lens, its a love affair for everyone that shoots with one. Very nicely done, my fave is the second, his pose and expression really add to a wonderfully composed image.
Thanks for taking a look all.
It's a lovely time of year to shoot here, things are nice and green(which wont last long). The weather is getting warmer so should help as well.

Man I need a 200/2. (Mine will be white). The images they make are amazing.
Dustin we all need one in our lives .
Even with my limited time with it it has been great. It's easy to hand hold (all shots were hand held) and all the images with it were perfectly in focus and sharp at f2.
The initial price is a bit hard to swallow but you soon forget about it and enjoy the wonderful images.
I'm curious why you chose those shutter speeds. Do you feel you need to shoot that fast for sharp photos with the 200 + D800E? Maybe the little boy moves around a lot =)
Anyone else think the bokeh in the first shot isn't very 'relaxed'?
