Here's one that didn't make the cut from earlier this month, just a bit to close.

Thanks for looking.

It's always cool to see flying fish.

Great shot Tim.

Fabulous!

Its funny how when you do your initial edit some shots get cut but you don't delete them. At a later date one 'discovers' them again when trawling seconds, miraculously they have gotten better with age and suddenly the get put in with the selects again!

This is a brilliant action shot, the blurred tail gives it energy and the missed flying fish arresting action/drama. The fact its storming right at you leaping out of frame only makes it better for me. I love it.

Put an image aside for a bit and return to it some time later and you realize just how good it is....it wasn't what you hoped in your mind's eye but in retrospect it's fabulous!

Sometimes "too close" is neat. I think the shot is a good one. The fist is lined up nice for the grab.

I don't know Tim, that's a way cool shot, how could you pass that by! ? I love it! I might even be tempted to go tighter with it

You don't need the wing tips in a photo like this Tim! Super image

Nice toss

Actually I just enjoyed the shot and studied it then looked at your comment. The close worked here really well, a natural by DOF push of interest to the head and fish. This is a cool grab shot I just don't know how you were able to toss the little fish and then get this shot?

It was a first round keeper in my eyes buddy and I know you don't 'bait' Sweet one sir!

With this amount of action you don't need the whole bird.
Great capture, Tim.
