I was getting ready to print this and decided it was too blue. I have good whites in the clouds, but the white water was blue.

I did one where I warmed up the bottom half of the image and the mountain, leaving the sky and clouds alone.

I am posting both, what are your thoughts. And is there anything else you might do before printing?

normal processing.

I took this in 2010 and it is old processing. I went back and found three raw brackets and blended them per my latest workflow using LAB methods.

This is what I get.

I like the third/last one best of the three. I probably have a bit of a bias to warm but I also think it provides more color difference in the image (like in the mountain details). It does give the foreground rocks more of a starring role so if you don't want to distract from the mountain, maybe the cool versions would be best.

I am noticing a bit of haloing around the mountain on all 3 but probably most on the third. Besides some white halo of the sky there, it also seems to me to be darkening the edges of the mountain and to me that looks a little unnatural.

Great shot really no matter which way you decide to go.

Yep some of that haloing is a result of my blend process which looks ok in print but not so good when downsized.

I am still not fully satisfied. The 2nd images has more sky drama and better definition in the water (hard to see at web size). I could paint in the water from the second shot, but not so sure I want the 2nd sky. I may just darken the sky in the 3rd.

Water from 2nd, darker sky

Thanks, while you were replying, I added an edit to the last one, like to hear if it is better or not. It has the water from 2 and a darkened sky.

Printed, and I am happy with it. Halos are very small, just the normal sharpening type and not at all noticeable on Canson rag at 16x24.

I do like the last edit. I like the bluer skies with darker clouds and greener foliage. It is a good contrast to the mountain and rock faces.
