Fantastic!

Thanks Jim. This image was inspired by your series from the same place. After seeing the images I wanted to visit the place and give it a try.

Hey Harsha,

Way to work this. Wonderful light in this. That 14mm definitely is the most bang for the buck. For anyone who can't afford the Nikon 14-24mm, the Samyang 14mm is really a must have lens.

Jim

Thanks Jim. Yes that lens is a gem. Smaller size make it a great hiking lens. Super lens for astro stuff. The only problem is lack of filters. I wished I had a polarizer for the lens to take off some of the reflections from the water.

Very nicely done. I really like the square crop on this. I'd be tempted to darken the light at the top a little (nice as it is) to help keep the eye in the frame.

I struggle with that and end up lightning up the top to keep the eye flowing from dark to light.

Very nice! Maybe slightly over-saturated on my display, but nothing nuclear or anything.

I've been eyeing that Rokinon for a whlie now...I think I might have to pull the trigger soon!

Like I said earlier you cannot use filters with that lens. It is aproblem when you have lots of light and need a ND filter to get the slow shutter speed. Otherwise it is a sweet lens. Distortion is very noticeable and that can be corrected in LR.

Thanks Steve. Appreciate it.

The comp is probably the best or one of the best I've seen from Proxy. The light bleed at the top doesn't register correctly. If it was mine, I'd re-work that or go without.

Hi Majeed, I struggled with the lighting on top. Thanks for the feedback. I will look into that before printing it.

Awesome photo Harsha!! Really nice work on the lighting. One of the most interesting photos of Proxy I have seen.

That photo makes it even harder to wait until next June to head to Proxy!

Fantastic image! I really like the gradient from front to back of dark to light, and sharp to soft/glowing. Was some blur/glow added to the background? There are a few spots along the tree trunk that may be from water droplets on the lens, or maybe just weird bark? The composition is superb. I've not liked most shots of this falls, since the double-falls in back pulls the eye in 2 directions at once, without a single 'destination'.
