Chrome works fine on my XP laptop...

Update: I was able to load the site this morning using Safari on iPAD. I did not do a purchase yet so this does look promising.

The site does not work with Chrome on iOS.

Bad IT deployment, for sure no testing on iOS.

Dave, see my 2nd post at the end of page one for a possible workaround, it's ugly and requires what should be unnecessary steps but on XP it does work...

...

Update when using Chrome,

Tried the link below in a 2nd tab; the 1st tab was Google's default search screen, and got the same flash/blank screen/stall...

http://shop.usa.canon.com/shop/en/catalog/

Decided to click on Chrome's 'Home' icon, then used the above address/url by using 'paste and go' in the 2nd tab and all worked just fine. There's something about an initial connect that just doesn't work.

I also tried the 2nd sequence listed in my post at the bottom of page 1 of this thread and it worked just fine as well. No excuses for Canon's lack it seems of any extensive testing. I've just found some workarounds that folks might try.

Sorry Mac users, I'm just not a Mac guy, never developed on them or used them

Additionally, I don't normally use Safari, in fact any Apple based utilities on my Windows comps, just never have found them stable.

Canon's site works fine this morning on Safari 7.0.6/OS 10.9.4. I saved new bookmarks and the main estore as well as my favs, e.g., refurb lenses, all load quickly and without problems. Only the old bookmarks didn't work.

I wish there was an in stock sort feature. Unless I am missing something. It is a PIA to sort through all the out of stock items listed.

It looks Canon's summer intern finished his project and returned to school now.

I just wish there was a web site working feature.

Faulty under Firefox on OS X too. Page loads then disappears - refreshing causes the page to flash but then it disappears again.

Oh look, now it looks like something from the 2000s not 1990s

And it doesn't load in Safari. I guess I never went there before, and won't go now.

Loads fine in Safari 7.0.6 in Mavericks. Realize if you linked directly to individual product categories that link may have moved. Go to the home page and save new bookmarks.

That's what I have. Up to date Mavericks with up to date Safari. Good times.

Again, not a big loss.

Just checked again, after a reboot, seems Canon has fixed things for Chrome, had no issues as it loaded without the need for a refresh...not checked Firefox or IE yet, tho I doubt my IE8 will work at all...
