I sure do enjoy them, Eric.
It's very pleasing behavior set. #2 puts a big smile on my face.

Great set Eric I love the blind devotion of the cubs following mom into the water ,most big cats shy away from it and in fact #7-8 they look a little confused. Is that female marking her path for the cubs in #6?
The lions of the Okavango have to deal with water all the time and so many become a bit more adapted to it. In the northern most part of the delta the lions swim and have become bigger and broader around the chest ....they have adapted to the water and the buffalo that live by it.

Delightful series, Eric. Love the roaring young male in #8. Wonderful pose and lovely warm tones in #10. Also just noticed the Blacksmith Lapwig taking in the show.
Ed
Thanks Ed...lions sleep so much so when I can get them doing something, anything I like to take advantage.

Is the movie "Born Free" a favorite of yours
I love that movie so much. We need more movies like that today!

Actually, I'm more of an "Out of Africa" fan but Elsa was pretty special.

cool set Eric, nice images of the family members. I might rotate #5 a tad to level the water in the shot. #5 and 6 have different white balance or were they processed differently ?
Thanks Herb...took your advice...it's more curved but I did try to get it as level as possible.
