A few more shots of Sable antelope as they came down for a drink.

5 And just for fun...guess what iso this was taken at without looking at the exif data....I converted it to black and white because it was shot with a red light spotlight that gives an even weirder look than in black and white. I will post the answer a bit further down.

6 One more sable shot just to be able to give the answer to the question above. The leopard was shot at iso 51,200...certainly not publishable but at least it is a documentary shot of a night time leopard. I shot this cat with 70-200 f2.8 1/15sec.

Very nice shots of a beautiful animal Eric. I have two funky exif viewers, and neither of them shows the iso... ~ Ron

What a lovely watering-hole setting for the Sable... 2 and 4 are my favorite compositions, your processing brought out excellent detail and rich color Eric. Super work!

A treat for the eyes, for sure. These are beauties, Eric. Especially like the second shot. Really like the trees in the background on that one. I think it might be even better with a bit of a crop from the bottom. What country did you find these guys?

Hey, Eric. Think it looks perfect now. Really allows the eyes to take more notice to the wonderful background. And, thanks for the link.

Thanks Chris...not a lot of mountains in Botswana...in fact the highest point may be on top of a termite mound but it's sure pretty anyway.

Great work Eric and the noise is not objectionable in the B&W of the leopard. I've had a color image that had about the same noise level published.

Thanks Michael...we spotted it when there was light and it was sitting eating a carcass...once it got up the tree we decided it was time to leave. The newish rules in most of the concessions is to spot with a light with a red filter...makes photography impossible.

I do think its quite amazing that #1 you can even take a photo is that much darkness and 2 its actually pretty usable
