I checked the restrictions for those coupons online. I believe they cannot be used with Nikon cameras, or with any DSLR.

Oh, it'll be a Nikon USA camera, Best Buy doesn't sell grey-market.

But they do want to sell their add-on warranty (a major profit center for them) so they're as-usual forgetting to update the default warranty info to match the actual Nikon warranty.

That is the same wording used on every new camera Best Buy sells. Look at the same wording under the listing for a Nikon D810. Best Buy has never sold grey market goods to my knowledge.

Well, it's an awesome camera, and the price is OK, but you have to add back some sales tax number being that it's Best Buy...

It's a USA model of course. They are an authorized reseller. It carries the standard one year warranty. They are just clearing out inventory.

And yes, the coupon does not work. It specifically excludes all DSLRs.

Not necessarily on paying sales tax, Oregon has no sales tax if you live there obviously

I thought about it as well, even mine with 4000 clicks probably wont fetch $2000. But I wont be selling mine as there's nothing wrong with it. Still shoots great.

That is Why I always buy used. It is a decent price new - although I see gently used /E's at this price.
