I've been hanging around the POTN forums for about year. During that time I discovered some of the members were also participating in this forum, mainly through the selling sections. So anyway I finally decided to join here too, also (as the late, great Justin Wilson would say ).

Here's a few of my attempts at macro photography. Keep in mind, arachnophobia, big time. If these hairy 8-legged things happen to crawl, jump, drop on me, well it doesn't end well for them. I do ok, as long as I can keep track of them, and some distance. So with that...

Welcome to the forum, Ron. Nice compositions.

I'd suggest posting the images a bit larger, say 800px min on the wide side for a better look.

Thank you coder. Ok, I was concerned about them being too large. Those are linked to my Flicker account where they can be viewed at larger sizes.

Great photos of the spiders. Your Flicker account appears to be set to Private.

Really nice set, and welcome to the macro forum

Could turn that second frame to the left and I think it would work better.

Thanks, however I disagree about turning the 2nd frame. He's on a wall of a machine shed, positioned head down. He stayed that way for hours eating his meal.
