The widest rectilinear lens for a full frame camera is the Sigma 12-24. There are a couple for sale in the classifieds, one is the version 1 and the other is the version 2 (I'm selling the version 2). At 12mm, you get about 120 degrees of coverage, which is pretty wild to see through the viewfinder. Stopped down, the lens offers darn good corner-to-corner sharpness.
If you're into primes, the Samyang/Bower/Rokinon 14/2.8 is an excellent lens for about $300.
