Any recommendations for black flocking material that doesn't shed fibres/particles?

One source I came across (largeformatphotography.info) said: "No matter what the source, I have always had problems with the flocking shedding ... like having a dust storm in your camera."

If that's the case, there's no way I want it near my A7's sensor! What are others here using?

I don't have an A7, but I do use flocked paper or flat, matte black paint to reduce internal reflections on adapters and such. The self-adhesive, flocked paper I use is designed for lining telescopes and does not "shed". I bought mine from Kendrick Astro Instruments in Canada, but they don't list it any more in their online catalogue.

It looks like this product at Edmund Optics, but I don't know if it is the same,

Thanks Jim. Can you try the link again, it doesn't seem to be working for me.

I used this stuff. Shipping took some prodding though.

Here it is Tim:

It looks the same as Jim's link though. If it doesn't work, go to the top page and search for "absorbing".

Weird, on my PC it's redirecting IE to this even when I paste it in

Works OK pasting into FF though

Thanks carstenw, they both seem to be working now, must have been a broadband issue.

I can second this recommendation. Good stuff.

I would avoid the cheap stuff on eBay, like this... http://www.ebay.com/itm/281300429924

It is a bit more flexible than the kraft paper style and the flocking itself is good, but the flocking has a tendency to separate from the self-adhesive backing.

Need to bring back up an old thread. I ordered some flocking material here from here too....

For my Yashica Mat. How fast is their shipping? I ordered on Sunday and I was expecting them to ship it out on Monday...maybe
