... not crazy about the timing on this one. The expression is okay, but it's clearly a ball pounded into the ground.
... Since we have no ball and going for expression, a waist high tight crop would work best. Looking to get the face to fill the frame.
... Doesn't work for me.
... Just okay. If going for the in game portrait, be conscious of EVERY detail. The break in the background wrap on the fence is distracting.
... Light is great. Expression, timing... not so much so.
,7... I get what you are trying to do. Pitches in the dirt, chin music shots, hops and skips, even hit by pitches, are all photos that I see a lot of newbies post on FM. To be truthful, none of it ever impresses me.
... I like it but wish the BG was better.
... Along with #12, your best shot. Tight horizontal would work better. That tear in the BG wrap, like in the first shot bothers me though.
... Again, go tight vertical. Rule of thumb... if expression is what you are going for and the legs are not contributing the the impact, then get rid of them.
... No
... More like this. Shoot with this mentality on EVERY shot.
... Since there is no play being made, go tight horizontal and make it about the kid.
... Nothing special here.
... My third favorite. I would crop it a little differently, but overall has all the elements we are looking for... nice lighting, clean BG, tight on subject.
Hope this helps...
