2 works best for me. When you have flowers in the foreground, they need to be dead sharp, even at the expense of more distant subjects. They also need good exposure.
In the first, the light was harsh on the flowers making it difficult to render them well.
In the second, you have good light, a much better subject and they appear sharper. The sky is less interesting but it does not matter and it is suitably dark to avoid any blown out effect.
The last is just not a very interesting subject.
This last image is along "Going to the Sun Road" if I am not mistaken. Hard place to shoot, because there are only a few pull-outs often packed with cars and tour busses. That scree is not very photogenic and it is a common feature along there.
