The background is a bit cluttered and lighted sufficiently to be distracting. But the major issue to me is that the short focal length causes significant distortion of his facial features: the front of his face, nose and mouth seem large compared to his ears; the front of his head seems large and the rear small.

If this sort of distortion was your intent, and it sometimes is, please disregard my comments.
