For those of you wondering who done it in my previous photo, this is the perpetrator. He lives at the Denver Zoo.

That looks about right.

I like these close-ups showing the texture of it's skin Morris... nice job on the compositions.

Very nice, Morris. I love the wrinkle skin texture. From the last pic, is it a wound on the face of the elephant?

Agree with Kirk's comments above- the two things that stood out to me immediately were the interesting comps and the textures. Nice job, Morris!

Those are fine images Morris. Especially the first. Fantastic! Do you have the whole trunk in the original shot? Wonder what it would look like with the entire trunk. Even with the trunk visually cropped out, it looks great. Probably all three takes on it would be very pleasing to view.

Thank you Kirk,
The texture is amazing. Possibly our skin looks like this to a mouse.

Thank you Tam,

I wondered about that and when I saw the same on the other side realized the elephant was sweating

Thank you Mitesh,
With a common subject finding new views will make the subject more interesting.

Thank you Kirk,
I only got one frame like the first. When close to a slow moving elephant and shooting with high magnification it's amazing how fast they appear to move
