We found these elk at about 11,000 feet on the ridge trail in Rocky Mountain National Park. The photos in the clouds are at 12,500 feet along the same road.

nice shots Morris. That last shot of that bull is interesting. Looks like he has a weird antler on the right side.

A very nice set with the clouds making the landscapes moody again. The cow elk in 3 looks like she has her ipod in a waterproof case...

#4 is my favorite.....maybe a little more density, except on her head/neck.

Sorry I missed these earlier....the window in the clouds is my favorite but I do love the elk shots. Do they GPS/transponder them in case of an outbreak of disease?

You seem to be the only one seeing the magic of the whole in the fog. Gerald is the one that got Rocky Mountain High and had to sit for a bit at 12,800 feet.
