At over 11,000 feet, we were as high as the birds go and this crow was giving us a good show. These photos are from a dramatic turn on the ridge road in Rocky mountain National Park. The last two photos show the switch backs on the road that allows cars to climb from the 8,000 foot valley below. We had two nice hikes earlier in the day at about 8,500 feet which for my sea level loving family was quite manageable. At about 10,000 feet we can’t go far so no hiking on the ridge trail for us though we did enjoy a few short strolls from the car. We spent about 30 minutes in this lovely spot before heading up higher.
