This is my one and only photo of a bushbaby (at least that isn't from so far away that you can tell what it is). They are nocturnal and you have to rely on a sharp eyed guide to pick one up with a spot light as you motor along on a night drive. Besides their amazing eyes, I love those hands....now if only I could do something about those red eyes

What color would you like the eyes Eric? Possibly you simply want to darken the pupils. You can do this with the burn tool and a soft edge. Just keep clicking and moving around till you are happy.

I am sure Karl can guide you to convert the eye color to green. Good capture of an animal more often heard than seen. TFS.

Coloured contact lens. That would work, and they have the adept fingers to get them in. Are there special ones for night time use only? Nice shot Eric.

I'd be more worried about the flash shadow on it's forehead,
Notoriously difficult to shoot and made the best of it here Eric.

Nice shot, Eric. You're welcome to borrow this pair, if it would help. Should be right up your line of work.

Same problem with these guys, and no flash or spotlight used.

You like their hands? How could you pick your nose with fingers like that

Real nice shot of such an elusive animal. You made it look easy!

Quick in which landmark film did the little girl want a bushbaby for her birthday?

Eric, as you edit the image on your PC (or Mac), use a BLUE or YELLOW marker and color the eyes on your screen. Take a screen shot and voila, you're done.

You're welcome.

Lesser Bushbabies are smaller than squirrels with large radar-like ears which makes their hearing very good. Their bluish grey fur is soft and woolly. The bushbaby has huge big ORANGE/RED eyes, SO big they cannot move their eyes in the sockets so they have to move their heads like an owl.

In this case, the red stays....but I might want to darken the pupils a bit.

Thanks braam....yes Karl will no doubt be able to make any adjustment needed....I've seen a bunch of these but at a distance and they are always too quick to get a decent photo.
