Good set Ron. That little fish isn't going to fill up the bellies of three birds. #3 is my pick of the set. Looks like you got some good light on that sequence.
Thanx Ken. I agree about the fish, but dad didn't stay around long.

Great close ups of the osprey nest, Ron! Glad you were able to find a couple breaks in the chaos to get out and shoot. The bear image looks pretty good for being such a heavy crop, and the heron and moon are nice as well.
Thanx Mitesh. Being with that large a group of people is fun for a few days, but doesn't allow much shooting time.

3 and 5 for me Ron. Try a yellow school bus full of kids, that hose will seem calm
Morris
Thanx Morris but no thanx - I did my time on a school bus and it's not going to happen again.

You are a brave and tolerant man Ron
Glad you could get back and have a second chance at getting the shots you wanted. It's great you could get some tighter shots than the first
3 is a grand shot, I might even be supportive of adding some canvas to the left to create a stronger comp. I had no idea there were bears there Then again I don't know much about the OB but I do I would sure like to go there someday.
Real nice set Ron!
Tim
Thanx for the gentle prod on the comp Tim. I had more room, but this is what looked good when I processed it. The OBX is a great place to shoot with a great variety of birds as well as lots of different 4 legged critters including bears and endangered Red Wolves.

Lovely series, Ron. Those osprey shot are terrific. The hand hold shot of the moon at 1/100 is tack sharp. The IS on that lens must be awesome. The clouds really give it some great character.
Ed
Than Ed I'm hoping to go back when the forecast is better just to shoot bears. I will probably go down one afternoon and come back the next day. Want to play??
