The first "sunset" was sort of soft and moody and it rained lightly. The second was really weird with a critter that wanted to pose. The last was really spectacular in person with endless intense colors.
C&C welcomed. Thanks
#1 Swiftcurrent LaKe and rainset
#2 This guy seems to want to eat what is left of this poor tree
#3 After days of nothing at St Mary's, I got this at Many Glacier
One hallmark of a good photographer is the ability to create his art when there appears to be nothing there from which to work. These are very good results. The windblown angularity of the tree really enhances #2 and gives some sense of how tough living in that environment is. I just plain love the soft oranges of #3.
The clouds work for me CJ! They always inject emotion, scale, depth into most images. #1 reminds me of the "misty mountain."
The last is wonderful!
Dan
#2 is interesting but doesn't appeal to me. #3 is a terrific sunset shot, at a beautiful location. #1 is my favorite, it makes me want to be there. Maybe it's my Northern European blood!
