p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Wake-boarding at Summer Camp

I have the pleasure of spending 7 weeks every year for the past 26 summers as the camp photographer.

Here are a few Wake Boarding.

Do you use a monopod on a bean bag to address boat vibration? Or just shoot hand held?

The last one should be cropped/straightened (even if the angle is natural, it is still bothersome and is an easy fix). I enjoyed your images though.

I have to imagine on a sunny day it is tough to get the best exposure, saturation, face, water, ski all balanced.

What a great job to have!

Thanks for looking,

I do shoot handheld. Here at camp it is more of a run and gun photography. I keep and post about 1000 pictures a week. At the end of the session I put together a slide show for the campers to see. Then after camp ends I go through the pictures again to select the shots to submit to the yearbook company. Each camper gets a hardcover yearbook.

It's a great place to spend the summer, and some of the best people I know.
