My wife is the best... She goes along with my obsession, def a good sport. Here she is posing for me, I tell to stop cause the light is hitting her nicely and bam, a tree branch looking things gets in the pic. Any CC on lighting or posing is appreciated.

Beautiful wife and model, but she looks like she is leaning out of the picture.

It's a nice attempt, but not quite perfect.

As you mentioned the branch in the foreground is distracting.

She's standing at a very awkward angle to the camera. She appears to be 10 to 15 degrees off from vertical.

There a very strange looking hot spot above her right shoulder in the sky. That could be easily fixed in post.

On my uncalibrated monitor, the picture looks a little cool. Maybe warm it up a smidge.

Very beautiful wife, and very pretty dress.

I think if you could get a more uniform background the final image would look better.

Thanks all. So what I'm getting from this is to clamp stamp the background and make it all green? Then maybe straighten her out? I'll try it out.

If you cropped the picture differently nobody would know the difference.

Quite honestly I prefer the angle, it adds interest to the picture, suggesting a swirling motion like with the wind or tilting to observe perhaps a bug on the branch of the tree which we cannot see.

I think the angle can add as interest, but as of now with the hot spot etc there is a little too much going on. Maybe try playing with toning down one aspect or another.

Also is it slightly off focus? Something just isn't pulling me into her face.

Lucky to have such a photogenic good sport. Happy shooting!

I like the swirly background, but perhaps a cleaner background.

We should do a wives thread... the poor souls.

Mine aint cheap... at least a pair of shoes per outing.

I don't mind the angle...but I'm not a fan of the crop. I don't think cropping at her chest is the best option.

Also agree with earlier poster, I wouldn't mind seeing the photo warmed up a bit.

Other than that, I like it!
