Thank you all very much for the comments. I am humbled. Since this seems as well received as I had hoped, I will tell you a little bit about the shot. I took it on my Nikon D7000 with a reversed Nikkor-HC 28mm f/3.5 at I believe f/8. Magnification is right around 1:1 or so.

Nice image, Kevin with a beautiful feel and colors.
I think the image would have even more impact if the stamen on the left or right would be in sharp focus.
The one you focused on gets a bit lost in the equal colored BG. Just a minor thought.

I agree. DOF is so small at f/8 on a reversed lens coupled with taking the shot handheld, about the best I could do.

What I mean is if you have a choice in picking the sharp subject choose the one(s) that have the best separation from its background. In this case the stamen on the right or left. If possible get them both if focus.
