...or Ladybird if you're from the land of perpetual overcast skies 
This is the fist one I've seen this year, and last year my yard was full of them. Odd that I don't see the red or orange Ladybugs at my place even though I do see them in other parts of the town. As always this is an un-cropped, hand held, single frame (no focus stacking). I used an artificial flower to keep the background from being black. Tech Specs: Canon 1D Mark III (F11, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens (@ 4x) + a diffused MT-24EX.
