p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Flashtube lifespan

I have noticed something interesting with one of my Broncolor flashtube: the flash intensity varies of 1 stop from time to time (about every 3 flashes). Color temperature is also not very stable, +-200K. Strangely the tube looks very clean, without dark particles inside the tube. This is not an original Broncolor tube though, but Lumix, and it has been in use by first owner 2 years ago. I have no idea how it has been used but as I bought a lot including heads and power pack with low flash count so I might be responsible of the problem. I only had it for half a year and shoot sloooow still life, never at full power.
I have various flash heads for 7 years (Jinbei, Bowens) and never blew a tube.
Any experience with that?

Thanks,

François
