These are from Bodega Bay, CA. A bit overdone perhaps?...but I remember the lighting conditions were extreme. Any comments welcome.

very minimalist but less is more as they say, I might be tempted to try and clear some of the dark areas around the Bird to make it stand out better

I really like the simplicity, suggesting to me the quiet at days end. It's wonderful how reducing an image to this form builds something greater into the picture.

(No offence meant but that first image had me guessing till I saw the second, thought the bird was a person. Spindly chair, head down looking at their phone. Hey but maybe double imagery is a good thing, but maybe it's just me)

Thanks for the kind words - I understand the confusion about #1 as the bird's head blends in with the shadow area. I was unable to bribe him into moving where I wanted him!
