Drove more than 5hours, this was supposed to be the "blood moon" lunar eclipse shot last April. But due to coming storm at Northeast US it was so cloudy and I just slept back at the car and waited for sunrise. Then still no luck, sun didnt shine .

Comments are very much welcome.

Even without sunrise, you have manage capture very nice seascape here.
A suggestion I would clone the power line on the left of the frame next to the house.

I cannot speak about the sunrise over there, but you got a great sky, and this works beautifully

Nice shot of one of my favorites. I like the wave action and streaks in the foreground. The clouds make a good complement to the ocean. It works!

Hey Marlon,

A cool view, and I like the water action. The HDR processing is a bit too much for me though. Not horribly bad, but it's cool just a bit too much.

Ok, I've remove the power line. What do you think?

Hi Jim,

Appreciate your kind comments, I'm not trying to defend myself as your inputs are very important for me.
This is a two shot exposure and focus bracket that I've merge on PS. I use curves for the water to stand out against the rock and a little clarity on the clouds on LR.

Thus said, I'm not really sure if this is the right thing to post process. Coming from just self taught background I just need some guidance. And I thank you for that.

Here is another post process result, removed electric wire and pole, I tried to correct the seaweed color on the rock.

Personally I like the original presentation. The power and lift lines are part and parcel of Nubble, taking them out disturbs my sense of reality.

I agree with Mike. I like the first image you posted. Great composition and timing. I think your time was worth it! I like this image a lot.
