p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · non Canon AC power adapters

OK, I tried searching and I guess my terms weren't specific enough... I even used google.

Canon AC adapter for 6D - $120

anybody else - not $120

Are there any notable good ones or bad ones? Anybody have any experience to share? I'm jonesing to try some astro photography with my shiny new 6D. I probably don't really need an AC adapter, so maybe this is an academic exercise, but if it's cheap enough I'll get one.

I don't really think that is a good idea. Cheap power supplies seldom are.

Well, the idea is to find "inexpensive" and not "cheap" of course. The simple act of entering into Canon's supply chain probably doubles the price to consumers.

People seem to do OK with non-Canon batteries though. I'm not buying a grip on general principle - I want to keep this rig nice and light.
