Hauling around a Canon MRK IV with a 500mm lens attached to a heavy tripod gets tiring. While doing so, often times an opportunity arises for a wide angle shot. With that, I took note from a friend of mine, Burt. He carries a Canon G12 with him. It seems that he is using the G12 more and more while leaving his Nikon DSLR's at home.
Looking into the many options available, I settled on Sony's RX-100 version II because it is very small and had great reviews.
Wanting to see what this little gem would do, I was messing around with it in very bright sunlight. Setting it to Automatic I fired away. Here are two results.
