You're welcome Jeffrey. If you're a fan of bridges you might want to check out another thread I started in this forum, Bridges of the World. I decided to start that simply because, as you note, not many folks are regular visitors to the Golden Gate bridge. But there are a great many interesting bridges in the world for us photographers to celebrate.
Here's another oldie by goodie from my Canon days. This was shot from the overlook at the lowest vista point on the Marin Headlands road, looking back toward the northern approach to the bridge. The north vista point is there, and below it Fort Baker. In the distance is the Bay, Tiburon, Belvedere, Sausalito and Angel Island. This was shot with the 17-40 f/4L. The lens produces lovely color and contrast.
