A good feel in the here for the royal portraits Ed. Brings out nice character in each for me
Thanks, Karl. It's a challenge to the creative juices.
Marvelous, Ed! I'm usually not a big fan of sepia/split tone-like post manipulations, probably because my own attempts have failed miserably. But whatever you've done to these images (and I would love to know what it is) works! I agree completely with Karl...the images have wonderful character that is best described as royal!
Ed, these are amazing shots. Your post work is outstanding . I, too, would love to know what you did. Great work.
Thanks, Greg, and Birdie. I do my post work using a combination of Camera Raw, Photoshop, and the Topaz Labs suite. Topaz provides many presets with their products. But, also enable customization. I will often start out with a preset, then manipulate it until I get the result I am attempting to achieve. After this is complete, you can then store the configuration to be reused at a later time. I really enjoy their product line up. They also offer weekly webinars that demonstrate 'how-tos' of their numerous products. They are live, and always offer a Q&A session at the end. Very informative. Got a really good price on their suite during the Black Friday sale. Have been very pleased with everything so far.
Work to be proud of Ed.
Thanks so much, Phil
Oooh I love the way you worked that especially the King!
Hello, Mohammed. Thanks. Good to see you around again.
Best to all.
