A few shots of some harbour seals. Nothing special from a species perspective, but the location sure was. These seals are fattening up on fish in a glacial lagoon which connects to the Atlantic - Jökulsárlón in Iceland. I don't think I have ever enjoyed a week of "variable" weather as much as my time on that enticing island.
1. Foot Inspection - I couldn't tell if this was an extremely flexible individual or two side-by-side (leaning towards the latter).
2. Cruising By - This seal was cruising by, but still had a little look back for me. They can be inquisitive at times (but never so curious that I could use a shorter lens - 400 5.6).
3. What's That You Said - The same seal as above. He took a pause in his journey to have a quick look at me.
These images were taken with my 7D, 400 f5.6, handheld.
