New to mirrorless and need some help. I attached an ND8 to my GX7 (14-45) to shoot a waterfall @ 2 seconds exposure but it was completely blown-out. I did a few more tests at home with the same result. In fact, at normal settings, the exposure is exactly the same whether the filter is on or not. It's like the camera doesn't recognize the filter. I shoot moving water all the time with a D7000 with great results, so I know what I'm doing.
Is there something I'm missing; do I need a stronger filter, do ND filters even work on mirrorless? Please help!

I think I figured it out. My f stop was 5.6 with that 2 second exposure. I bumped it to f11, decreased the shutter time and fixed the problem. Sheesh...major "brain fart". Thx for your reply!
