Last light kissing Reynisdrangar rock formations.

Here's an edit neutralizing the shadows a bit. I've got mixed feelings about it but...

Really great sunset capture with the added motion from the water!

Interesting scene and i love that water wave. Though I think the processing is a little off. It's a lot of blue/cyan where I think that's snow on the rock formations? The water as well and there is a bar of white/grey in the middle of the foreground water that looks like it's been saturated out.

Thanks Jason, It's actually a comp of three exposures and the foreground with the best movement in the waves was a bit blown so I recovered the highlights, perhaps too much. That might explain the clipped saturated areas. the one chanel that wasn't clipped was the reds so it might be tinting on recovery. As far as the blue cyan cast, I lean towards leaving a bit of blue in the shadows but I might neutralize it as the snow is creeping into the tonal midtones.

What a cool looking shot, love the water movement. I am with Tyler, I think the original is better as far as color cast go, but I do think I would adjust the cyan out of everything but the sky, but not to the extent that you did on the edit.

I definitely prefer the original. Sometime accurate is less artistic.

I like the first but feel if you just toned down the saturation on the blues only would help!

OK this is kind of fun. I'm not saying which, if any I'm going to print, but I'm enjoying the rorschach vibe I'm getting here. One more kind of splitting the difference. There's less blue but perhaps a touch more green in the water, which I think for the North Atlantic isn't TOO far off..
