Very interesting image Scott, it feels like two unrelated buildings are sandwiched together, lower part being a vibrant restaurant and the upper part of the building is such a dour place.

Such a cool building - It's just incredibly interesting on so many levels (pun totally intended). It's just very bizarre to see those buildings together like that, it seems like something is off, like the background was replaced with the building we see!

thanks. Seemed right to me.
I sometimes continue the an exercise given to me (on a composition workshop in Savannah a few years back).
Set for RAW + jpeg, monotone, choose any filters, toning as desired, and use the LCD display to help improve visualization in BW. I had the camera set up like that, with a red filter and sepia toning. But I find the Canon sepia a bit strong and then dialed it back in post.
