+1: Exactly. If AF is not critical, the A7R is the best choice out there currently in regard to best IQ with Canon glass. When I bought my A7R, I just thought to use it as smaller light weight and compact travel camera in addition to my 5D MkII. It turned out that I rarely use my 5D MKII anymore after seeing the huge difference in resolution and DR in my photos.
For AF-critical work, the 5D MkIII/6D might still be the best options compromising in IQ compared to the A7R.
