#12 is probably my favorite as well. I just bought a used 500mm f4 v1 from lensrentals.com a couple of weeks ago and was dying to take it somewhere to field test it, but the really good raptor areas are pretty much done for the season here. As it happened, at one of the spots I like to shoot trains from, this very cooperative gray ghost, just kept hunting up and down the railroad tracks, over and over, allowing me to get some practice in handling the behemoth piece of glass. It takes some getting used to, and I hope to get better at is before next fall and the next big raptor migration here, but so far I'm pretty pleased with its performance.
