Hey folks! Today we launched our new website and I would love any thoughts or opinions on it. Our main goal was to get bigger, full screen images, a more interactive blog and a much more mobile friendly version.

I would love any feedback you're willing to give. Thanks!

Awesome. Can't help but feel the less educated photo-wise clients will wonder why the blind-garter catch looks so grainy, but I presume they'll think it's for arts sake considering the rest of the port set. Images look good @ 1920x1200, 24" and also on the 17" retina fwiw. Firefox/Safari.

Was the umbrella-at-night image copied off of that Hoffer guy?

Seriously, I love the igloo image... trying to find the couple in the cityscape image a few frames below that was interesting...

The blog images don't all load instantaneously, but they do display quite nicely.

I shudder to think about how much it would cost me to have a website this good.

Congrats to Farid.

Oooo I really like it. The only thing I have to confess I don't like is the lazy load. Makes it really painful to scroll through an entire blog post. I imagine it's even more painful for those on a slow internet connection.

I do love the new portfolios though, especially the vertical scroll to advance.

I would also add that your idea for reviews makes a lot of sense- instead of directing viewers to a website where they'll also see (literally) hundreds of competitors, you show comments along with images as examples to what made your past clients so pleased.

Hey Tony, in the portfolio, whenever a vertical is shown,it only shows half of the image (its too big and cant be viewed properly) then skips past to the next image.

Besides that its awesome!

And great job at landing Farid. The rich got richer

Nice and clean IMO

In the iphone in horizontal position the logo gets in the image blocking important parts of the image sometimes !!!

Very quick in the ipad at 4G connection.

How many images did you put in total

Jaime

I clicked this morning and the initial view of the website was a bit confusing, then I finally found the links, I don't think they loaded right away. The vertical scrolling is different, not sure if it is good or bad.

Sweet site tony, really clean, only thing id say is if i want to view images quickly and press the down key every second or so, I start to get a dizzy from the scrolling photos. Other than that its beautiful

Nice site! But I did not find the blog categories right away.. After searching a bit I clicked on the square thingy on the top right :-)

Hmmm.

Dislike the 'infinite scroll' aspect where the next blog post is at the bottom of the page after the full current post.

The setup throws too many images at the screen initially, all of which I have to scroll through just to find the next post. I'd prefer more of an index initial page with a jump button.

Not initially obvious that the way to view the next blog post is to click on it at the bottom of the page, as it appears more like a footer to me.

Images are (slowly) loading when needed rather than pre-loading for the page.

Chrome 'hung' for about 15 seconds once.

I used to really hate the double scrollbar on your previous site though, so glad that is done away with.

I think once you have the hang of it, maybe after a few minutes, the user navigation is okay.

Obv, the photography speaks for itself.

Thanks for your thoughts... Regarding the infinite scrolling, not sure if you noticed, but there is a button on the bottom right to jump right to the next post if that helps.

We're still working on a few speed issues...

I must have missed something. Is Chuck no longer with you guys?
edit: Cool website too. The scroll down for next image thing is cool, although with the track pad if you scroll too fast you'll skip an image.

I like the overall site, its clean, I like larger images.

However, as a web designer I find its navigation a bit 'clunky' though. Im wondering if the average viewer will have a harder time moving around on your site.
