I bought my first DSLR a couple years ago solely for video production (I know that annoys some of the traditionalists). But a funny thing happened, as much as I enjoyed shooting music videos and short films... I absolutely fell in love with shooting stills. Since then I've been doing portraits and street photography and loving every minute of it.

Now I'm looking to get into Wedding photography. I've never shot a wedding before so I'd be looking to start as an assistant/2nd or 3rd shooter for someone whose willing to show me the ropes. Any takers?

I live in the Los Angeles area and I'm available M-F (I have a weekend job).

My gear includes a 5Dm3, 24-70 f2.8, 70-200 f4, 50 f1.4, Yongnuo E-TTL flash

Welcome to wedding section of Fred M.

Highly recommend checking out the 2 sticky thread at the top of this section.
The information is recent and straight to the point.

You might get lucky and find somebody requesting help for a Friday wedding.
