Many thanks, Bret. Nansy has been a favorite of many, of course including the fans who are able to see her perform in person, especially the young girls who idolize all of the athletes. She's among the most reserved of the team members, and this public outpouring of joy and appreciation from her teammates and the crowd seemed almost transformative for her. The timing couldn't have been better.

Thank you, Dennis. Your are absolutely right about her humility. I'm glad it came through in the images.
coreybell: Thank you. I agree--#7 rocks the house.
Steven: Thanks. It's not possible to be a part of that kind of experience without being affected by it, so yeah, it was a rush.
Blake: Thank you for your insightful comments. Can't say I've thought about this in terms of recruitment, but I certainly do feel that my work is appreciated by a program that is masterful at marketing itself and exceedingly careful about every facet of its public image. I know my photos fit in there somewhere, and take pride in being a part of the overall promotion, which has to be among the best in the NCAA. So yeah, maybe recruitment is affected. I know that when prospective gymnasts attend one of Utahs' meets, they are absolutely awestruck, and the support this program enjoys definitely is a big selling point. You mentioned regarding my last gymnastics post an apparent change in white balance and I definitely noticed it this meet. One of the video guys thought it was due to new carpeting that is cooling things down. I don't know, but it was different. Irrelevant now, though, because they're about to tear out all the lights and update to state-of-the-art lighting. We'll see how that goes... Thanks again for your comments.
