I previously had my canvas prints done by Simply Canvas but their ordering system (ROES) has made it impossible for me to place orders now. Can anyone recommend a canvas printing service which does good work and has good customer service? Thanks.

Last good-size canvas I did was with CG Pro Prints, and it came out great. I didn't like CanvasPOP.

I just checked CG out. They are awfully inexpensive . $40 for a 24x24? Kind of makes me wonder about them but I think I will order one just as a test.

I got a 16x20 from CG that came out great! In comparisson to what other family members have done, CG came out better and was cheaper.

I don't like canvas prints much.. but I do have a 20x30 from CG Pro hanging on my wall. Good quality.. sturdy.. and I'd go with them again if I ever did a canvas print.

They did a 20x60 of this image for me in 2012. It's been hanging in my office, and I get a lot of compliments.

Sturdy, and they seal the back (i.e. it is not open so you can see the frame), and provide hangers.

Is that a photo of the canvas itself? What resolution did you send them for that?

No, that's the photo itself. There is plenty of resolution, because it is a 4-shot pano taken with a 7D and a 24-105.

I can't remember exactly what I sent them, but looking at my files, it appears the original stitching got me a 20x60 image at 160 ppi. I think I then uprezzed it to 200 ppi, so it was a 30MB jpg.

I'm pretty sure CGPro gives some guidance on the optimum resolution for canvas printing. It doesn't have to be that high, since the canvas has that texture to it.

I switched to CG Pro last year. Their stuff was clearly higher quality than what I was getting from WHCC.

Completely opposite from my experience. The print I had made by CG Pro wasn't even close to the quality of the print from WHCC, by any criteria (overall image quality, fit and finish).

The low price is the clue. You get what you pay for.

Did one with Dan Berg (bergscanvas) here on FM. Very responsive, personal service, first order discount. Canvas looked great. I dont think he can match the huge turnaround companies, but I would use him again.

I just got my lion portrait, 24x24", from my local printer: G&H Printing in Naples, FL. She did a great job. Cost was $140. Still waiting for my CG Pro canvas.

Just got my CG Pro canvas. It is excellent! The frame feels very light and I wonder how sturdy it is but the print itself is first rate. Cannot believe the price.

Another kudos for CG Pro, I just got an email from them with a Heartbleed action plan. Which is more than I can say I received from B&H, Amazon, or any other vendor for that matter.
