p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Airplane ID?

Photographed this quickly last weekend at Gunter Air Force base in Montgomery, AL as I was driving out the main gate. We had been there to see the daughter-in-law graduate from the Senior NCO Academy. Does anybody know the name of this aircraft? Looks like to me it is some early trainer or maybe an AT-6. Thanks for your help.

Sure looks like a North American AT-6 "Texan" Trainer

It really looks like a BT-13 variant to me, although the canopy windows don't seem quite right....the T-6 Texan has the wheel well cover thingies on the wheel struts that may not necessarily be present on a static display, but the air intake (?) pipe underneath the engine looks more BT-13 than T-6.

Thanks guys. After looking up the Vultee BT-13 on the internet I think that is the correct ID. Again thank you.
