To me, this looks like you have lost most of the texture of the wall (might be the look you were after), and a little perspective control seems in order.

A suggestion to simplify the image more, is you could crop out the building on the left to just concentrate on the spiral staircase, just a thought

I thought the pipe on the left added a comparison element of "straight" against the stairs curves no?
I understand the perspective control issue. As for "losing the texture", that was on purpose to try and emphasize the simplicity of form, etc.
Appreciate the feedback, its why I post.

Yes..good point! I also see some nice shadows from the staircase on the building. Maybe some more contrast to bring that out to accentuate the starkness of the walls and add a tad of texture.
