Just curious if anyone else uses it.As a viewer it is so much faster then Nx2 and PS5 with raw files that I use it all the time. The look and speed is so much better then both.Batch conversions are fast and simple stupid..And
you can down load for free.

Great program, widely used. But don't fall for the misconception that it does "batch conversions" of raw files. It is not a raw converter. It simply extracts the jpeg that is embedded in every raw file.

So what you see and what you get is the jpeg generaed by your camera. Same as shooting jpeg.

It is my go to viewer. As you said it is very fast and versatile. Free doesn't hurt either

I gave it a try, but the color-management seems to be failing at times.

I'm getting a radioactive look if I put my monitor into wide gamut mode.

My Fast Stone DB file is 0.5 GB now, this is how much I use it.
Great piece of software with many options. The batch options are just incredible...

Another vote for it here. Have used it as my main quick viewer/sorter for a number of years and am very pleased with it.

It gives a superb rendering of images but is very slow to open RAW files (ORFs, anyway). They invite donations but I found that there was a bug which prevented me from making a payment. I emailed them but never had a reply.

IrfanView (free download) is far quicker for preliminary sorting of images.

I use the Zee viewer. I find it works very fast and displays about any format I've ever needed.

I used to use faststone and really liked it. But when I got a D800 I found that View nx was much faster with my raw files. Practically instantaneous.
