p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Dark Angel on the dunes at Mogote

The dunes at Mogote, north of La Paz, are not frequented much - but they are a spectacular, if extreme location for shoots! Very harsh sun, sand hot enough to burn feet, gruelling walks up the dunes ... but the sand patterns and the wildness are superb.

This was towards the end of a long fashion shoot - just playing with improvised outfits and fabric in the off-shore wind. The model is a local fashion designer.

Very nice. Only thing betted would have been a way to cover up the tracks in the sand so it looked not disturbed.

+1 But I like this image. It's different and creative in a good way.

Excellent photo. I love the colors, lighting, dress (color & flow), texture & color of sand as back drop.

Spectacular gesture, light, and setting. But the model does not seem to be engaged. Her expression is unenergetic and bland, not in keeping with the rest of the shot. It's very important for the photographer to make sure his model is fully engaged. Too bad because everything else about the shot is captivating and strong.

There's a lot to like about this image, but 12mm on a E-M5 = 24mm? I feel this image would have benefited from a longer focal length. Feels a little wide with some distortion? I might have also shot from a lower angle.
