Beautiful images !

Really like 1 and 5. I'd be interested in seeing a color version of 1.

I think 1 could be improved by removing the viewing platform, but that's just me. I always like to remove the man-made stuff if they aren't a key element of the photo.

Thanks,

I have to work on a color version. I'll try and post something. I was not very happy with lighting in color.
I removed a lot of people on the shots, some cars too.
The funny thing is that some people were climbing the stears. After removing them I had to reconstruct the stears at some point.

I agree with you on removing human stuff. It was hard decision to keep the platform or not, as it's part of the place now.

I like 3 best...cool to see the habitation within the context of the countryside. Gives some perspective on what life there is like.

Thanks guys.

I have 166Mpix version of the 3rd. Should I post it ?

That's the best place I have been in Europe.

Absolutely Gorgeous images! Thanks for sharing!

I can understand the request to remove the viewing platform in #1, however, it does add a sense of scale AND brings the viewer into the image by placing his/her mind/perspective at the edge of the cliff.

Would you share the technical details? Camera, lens(es), software processing, etc?

Peter

1 to 4 were shot with 6D + 100L
The last one with 6D + Sigma 35 1.4A

I used LR5 for procesing and Photoshop CC for merging to panorama.
I used Photoshop to clear people from the picture on number 1, because it was too hard for LR5.

I'll post more details later

This is a before / after from one of the 4 shots that made #5
It got first step PP in LR. The most important is to correct the lens vigneting.
Then I past this PP to the 3 other shots.
I merge to panorama in Photoshop and go back to second step PP in LR.

You can see here the 9 shots that made it to #3
The before / after shows the .tif from Photoshop on the left and final version on the right after LR PP.

This is a 50% crop from the 166Mpx #3

You can see exif on the top left.
Camera settings must be all the same. You have to use same first step PP for all images before merging to panorama.
It's easy to forget that white balance is not the same for each shots.

I love #3 - Great work!

What's your strategy on the White Balance? Set it to a fixed value in camera or in the first PP step?
I struggle with White Balance in my panorama shots.

I set it in the first PP step and copy it to other image before merging.
