Sweet ; ) Looks like a giant used that stick to pick a boogie. I really like the ice hanging behind the ladder also. Nice composition and a great scene.

Thank you everyone for the kind words.

Stan - the trail was actually in pretty good shape and not a lot of snow and ice.

Mike - The water wasn't as cold as I thought it would be. I wore chest waders, fleece liner underneath and had foot warmers in the boots.

It's a shame they've bolted that monstrosity of a ladder to the log this year, instead of the simple/rustic sticks that have been nailed there in the past (although I'm sure much safer now), It really kills a lot of the appeal of this scene
