p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Cypress knees on the Ocklawaha River

Taken a few days ago in cold, wet weather. I’m torn between these two crops. I typically prefer wider crops for landscapes, but the lone vertical branch and excess dirt path on the right side annoy me. But I’m also not extremely find of the narrower crop to eliminate those issues. What do you think?

Thanks for the feedback. While I normally wouldn’t use the clone tool on my own work (unless a client requests it), I do like the results in this case. Maybe a simple crop of the original with some of the bottom removed to preserve the original aspect ratio? What do you think?

Version 3:

I think version #3 works well, aspect ration seems to be the key
