p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Canon 7D Firmware Update?

Hello all, just a quick question about the update, I have the new version 2.0.5 ready to install on my Sandisk CF card.

I''ve downloaded it from the Canon UK site. My current version on the camera is 2.0.3. has anyone experienced any problems with this update? And I also presume that IF things go wrong,
I cannot update to a previous version. Excuse the caution, I've not done this for a few years, and the camera is 2 months old.

The firmware works fine for me.

You can go back to an older firmware on most Canon DSLRs.
I've done this so I could use the Magic Lantern firmware.

Yes many thanks! It's installed perfectly, compared to my 1D MKII firmware updates which installed instantly, I note with the 7D that the screen momentarily pauses, goes blank and then initialises some form of installer software within the camera! Very modern! Lol!
