Personally I don't like it.. the lens I mean. It's too sharp, or too "edgier", bokeh is too crisp and well defined, colors are way too saturated for my taste. Great for macro, never use it for portraits. 85mm 1.8G and 1.4G are still my favorite for that..

Very nice portrait, agreed. How does the 105mm macro do at reducing the background to creamy mush?

It's no 200/2 or 85/1.4 but if you get close enough...sorta mushy?
